Hi Everyone,
Well it sure isn't Monday is it? I am one very frustrated lady. I thought this surgery on my left hand wouldn't be too bad and I'd still be able to stamp - no problem - Wrong! I did my class on Monday night so spent Sunday and Monday getting ready. Even though you don't use your left hand that much you think - it didn't feel good when I was done! But, it will be worth it in the long run. So I'm really not whining, I just really wanted to post much more frequently and it has definitely not happened and probably won't change as much as I would like for the next few weeks. I went to the doctor today and although I don't have a cast - I do have a pretty extensive splint and can't move my thumb at all. But I promised blog candy and I'm going to do blog candy! If you look back at my posts for the "Blog Tour" you will see that the set I used was "God's Beauty". That will be the main give away for the Blog Candy. I will be adding a couple of surprises with it too. To qualify all you have to do is comment on my blog. I need I want to start posting very regularly - bug me - encourage me - help me PLEASE!!!!
I have a couple "Sneak Peak" cards to share tonight. Here are two cards I made just for my blogging friends. The stamp set is a New Level 2 Hostess Set out of the 2009/2010 Catalog that will be released July 1! This is a great set. I think everyone will want it. So if you agree you'll want to start thinking of your guest list for your workshop to earn this set. I'd love to help you earn it! The cards also feature two of the new in colors and their matching ribbons. Also, the bird was colored with a brand new matching marker! This year we are also offering "in color" markers! Please contact me to find out how to reserve your copy of the new catalog. It is one of our best. So with no further ado here is your "sneak peak" Hope you like this and are now very excited about the new catalog. Start leaving you comments and I will have my daughter select a comment next Thursday to win the "God's Beauty" stamp set. Have a great weekend.
Happy Stamping!

I love the excitement of a new catalog, it's like the wish catalog from Sears at Christmas. I can't wait to mark all my wish items and then start buying some of them. LOL
Beautiful card samples and really unique colors. Great job!
You can make a resolution with the new catalog to post more regular too that should give you a goal.

Yay for you, Jan -- still stamping away even with your "handicap" ... or should I say "bum thumb"!! LOL
I love the colors -- quite luscious looking. What else can I say but, "simply elegant". Anxiously waiting to see the "new stuff" July 1st, like everyone else. Thumbs up, girl !!

Jan I am so glad that ytour hands are ok.
Guess that would be my biggest fear to not be able to use mine and be able to create cards.
God Bless

Jan, those cards are beautiful. I also ordered that set, and the In Color bundle, but do think that I need to put in an order for the markers and ribbons. Just beautiful cards. Take care of your hand, it needs to heal properly to be able to sustain many more years of helping your right hand to stamp!

I sure hope your wrist and thumb heal very quickly. I agree with the other people posting...do not try to rush the healing by overdoing. Our hands and fingers are all too important in this craft! Your card are beautiful, and I join the others excitement about the new colors and markers.

Hello Jan!

I love the cards that you made with the new stamps & accessories. They are beautiful.

I hope your hand feels better. I have carpel tunnel too, but I opted for the steriod shot. It's been almost a year and it's still working, but I remember how much pain I was in and couldn't type for almost a week. Feel better!

I also like the new hostess set and better yet - POLKA DOT ribbon!!!!!!! Can't wait to see all the new ideas you are going to share on your blog! You are going to have to get creative on how to use your left hand so you can Carol

Hi Jan,
I am really sorry to hear about your arm - how disappointing for you. I think Lisa W has a good idea. Make a resolutiong with the new catty when it comes out to posts more often - maybe that will help you.
Your cards are precious and as usual I can hardly wait for the catty :o)

I love the two cards that you made with the blue and orange cardstock!
They are beautiful and pop off the page! I was deciding whether or not to order the ribbons, and now looking at your samples, I believe I will! They match perfectly!
You have done a beautiful job on the two! Thanks for sharing!
